New Cadets

NEW CADET REGISTRATION IS SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

If you have reached your twelfth birthday by September and wish to join Air Cadets please get the ball rolling by visiting the Cadets online registration form at least 24 hours prior to registration and start your registration by providing all the information required.  This form will be printed for your review and approval at registration.

Before attending a registration night be sure to:

  • complete the online form at least 24 hours prior to attendance
  • review all of the referenced documents and be prepared to sign the documents in the presence of the administrative staff.

When you come to register please bring the following mandatory items:

  • a pen
  • a parent or legal guardian
  • a current health insurance card with a photocopy
  • a second piece of valid identification issued by a Canadian provincial or federal agency (Canadian passport, permanent resident card, birth certificate, etc.)
  • 20$ (cash or cheque) for 2 Activity Cards for each cadet being registered

When you attend registration the following steps will take place:

  • Print outs of the information that you submitted on line will be verified and signed.  (If you were not able to complete the forms on line a limited supply of blank paper forms will be available.)
  • Review and signature by new Cadet of both the Code of Conduct and the Pledge
  • Review of proof of your medical insurance (preferably your OHIP card).
  • Provision of a $20 deposit to the SSC (Squadron Sponsoring Committee) for 2 Squadron Activity cards.

If you were unable to attend our New Cadet Registration Night in September, applications may be accepted (depending on numbers) on Friday training/parade nights between 7:00pm and 8:00pm, please see Announcements for additional dates
