New Cadets

NEW CADET APPLICATIONS AND REGISTRATION TAKES PLACE IN LATE AUGUST AND EARLY SEPTEMBER.  CHECK THIS WEBSITE’S ANNOUNCEMENTS PAGE FOR DATES, TIMES AND LOCATION.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS BEFORE THIS WEBSITE PROVIDES INSTRUCTIONS TO DO SO, AS PREMATURELY SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS MAY GET LOST.

If you have reached your twelfth birthday by September and wish to join Air Cadets please get the ball rolling by visiting the Cadets online application form to start the registration process by providing all the information required.  If you receive an invitation to attend the in-person registration step this form will be printed for your review and signature approval.

Please note that applications from recruits living in 700 Squadron’s primary service area, i.e. in North and Central Etobicoke and Weston areas of Toronto, will be processed first.  Applications from potential recruits living outside these areas will be processed on a space-available basis only.

Before attending the in-person registration step be sure to:

• Complete the application online form when this website announces that applications are open (usually in mid-August);
• Wait for an email invitation to attend the in-person registration.  Please do not attend the in-person registration step if you do not have an invitation to do so;
• Review all of the referenced documents and be prepared to sign the documents in the presence of the administrative staff.

When you come to register please bring the following mandatory items:

• a pen
• a parent or legal guardian
• a current HEALTH CARD for visual confirmation.  (If your card has expired please get it updated before attending registration.)
• a second piece of valid identification issued by a Canadian provincial or federal agency (Canadian passport, permanent resident card, birth certificate, etc.)

WAITLIST

For applicants who submitted an on-line application but have NOT received an invitation to attend the in-person registration step, your name will be added to a waitlist.  If positions open up you will be notified by email.
