April 17: CO’s Parade, Squadron Photo and Tagging Brief. Dress will be C1. Please make sure you have all your uniform parts for Friday night!
Tagging (Fundraising):
April 18 and 19: If you have taken a bus, eaten a meal, received a squadron t-shirt or jacket, you have benefitted from tagging. We need 64 cadets each day to make this a success. This is the most important fundraising we do all year. Dress is C3. Sign ups are on Team or here: Tagging April 2026 form
Optional Training:
- Monday: No Supply
- Tuesday: Effective speaking online 6:00 – 7:30 pm
- Thursday: Band and Drill – regular timings
So why were we so busy this past week and what else is happening this upcoming week?
- Band, Drill and Flag Party all competed in the annual March On competition yesterday. It was the first competition for many of our cadets, and they did a great job. I do hope they are all proud of themselves because they have every right to be!
- Range Make Up Day was also yesterday. Lt Squitieri had 30 cadets complete their performance objective. It’s made a big difference to a lot of training files. Thank you Lt Squitieri for making the time!
- Regional Range Competition - And as we wind up the week, Lt Squitieri will be busy again this weekend taking one of our range teams to the regional championships! It will be a three-day event at CFB Borden. We wish the best of luck to Sgt Bavadekar, Cpl Martincic, WO1 Patel, WO2 Popescu and Cpl Smart.
- Gliding, April 25 - We also have gliding on April 25th. We are focusing on cadets who joined the squadron this year and have not yet had a chance to go gliding. If space is available, we will then focus on older cadets who have not yet had the opportunity. Anyone interested should sign up for gliding here: Gliding – Fill out form. Further details including a list of cadets chosen will be sent out shortly.
