AVIATION NIGHT!

Interested in aviation? Would you like to see some drones and robots in action? Want to bring out your competitive side? (and of course, do you want to complete some mandatory training objectives?) Well, hope you're ready for the Squadron Aviation night on Friday, 27 March 2026!

• Guest Speaker: we are looking forward to welcoming Capt Li as a guest speaker, who will guide us through demonstrations of drones and industrial robots. What a unique opportunity - don't miss out!
• Flight Simulators: I think this one speaks for itself!
• Competitions: ...did someone mention prizes?!
• Effective Speaking Team Special Appearance: excited to hear special presentations from the 700 Effective Speaking Team, and learn a bit more about new aviation technology, airplanes and the environment, the history of David Hornell V.C., and more!
• Model Aircraft Contest: on the day of the event, we'll be running a model aircraft contest! Bring in a model aircraft you've made, in any format (paper, wood, LEGO - anything!) and a special prize will be waiting for the top voted model.

Performance Objectives

POs are required for a cadet to finish their current training level. If a cadet doesn’t complete their POs, it may prevent them from being promoted or progressing to the next training level.

Very few cadets have completed their fitness trackers or community service this year. Please get those papers to your flight commander.

Rifle Handling: March 28, 9 am – 1 pm. If you have received an email regarding this event, please show up. It is a requirement of the program and who knows, you might be the next star member of the range team!
