Annual Cadet Mess Dinner 2014

The Cadet Mess Dinner is an annual tradition at 700 David Hornell VC Squadron. It is a formal military style dinner that is full of traditions and customs.

This year’s Guest of Honour is Major (Ret’d) Eva M. MARTINEZ, CD, a 2014 recipient of one of the Northern Lights Award (Women in Aerospace). Maj Martinez served in the CAF as an aeronautical engineer and was Canada’s first female UN Military Observer (Guatemala). She presently heads Program Management Excellence, Landing Systems for UTC Aerospace Systems in Oakville.

Sign-Up Information:
Cadets can sign up by paying a $10 deposit to the sponsoring committee at the Squadron on Friday Evenings. The last day to pay/ sign-up is Friday Dec 6th.

Cadet Dress:
Full uniform with tunic, ties and medals (C-1); OR
Full uniform with white dress shirt, bowtie and medals (C-8).

Recruit Dress:
White dress shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes 
(black tie if you have one)
